WeldTech 5002
Welding machine for the heating element butt welding of PE, PP, PVC, and PVDF pipes and fittingsfrom160mmupto 500mm. Based on a steel frame with electro-hydraulic adjusting device for the control and application of the welding pressure, planer with electrical chain drive in a closed aluminium housing, external chip removal, holding bracket for the heating element, adjustable timer. Basic clamping tool selectable in small steel or large version (without diameter depending reduction inserts) swivelling on each side up to 15° (with the large version even possible up on 22.5° upon changing the basic clamping tool) for the welding of segmented bends and fittings.Theright-handclampingtoolis axially movable for adjustment of diameter tolerances. In supporting the welding force application a second cylinder is available optionally and mounted on the upper clamping tool when needed. Special clamping tools are available for the fabrication of T-pieces 90°, 45°, 60° and cross-pieces. The machine in its manual version can be obtained with the WeldTech SPA weld log recorder (see page 20) or with the WeldTech CNC control (see page 21). The servo-controlled version can be obtained optionally with force adjustment or joining way restriction.
