larger image		WeldTech IR 63 Simtech’s IR 63 is a light weight (79 Lbs) compact machine offers a size range 0f 20mm to 63mm. Designed with the specific requirements for clean room applications all surfaces on the IR 63 are scuff-resistant nickel-plated Parallel facing of the surfaces by a high torque electric planer combined with a high-performance heating element (max. 600° C) and limit stops ensure ensures minimized weld beads that are, accurate and repeatable. Simtech’s IR 63 calibrates the distance from the radiant source along with the settings by means of a high precision linear guide way including stops that provide for minimized and defined weld beads that are accurate and repeatable. The temperature range of the heating element is electronically controlled for variable settings up to 500°C. Welding pressures are self adjusting to compensate for drag forces by a separate, portable control unit. The IR 63 provides adjustable horizontal and vertical offsets to assure trouble free repeatable welds. Simtech’s IR 63 combines simple trouble free operation along with proprietary non-contact infrared technology, excellent radiation characteristics along with an abrasion free surface coating, making the IR element suitable for the infrared welding of all common fluropolymers and polyolefin’s such as PP, PVDF, ECTFE and PFA.
